Ingredients to make 4:
2 cans of tuna steak in spring-water – drained
50g wholemeal breadcrumbs
1 free-range egg
2 Jumbo or 4 small spring onions finely sliced
1 tbsp lazy diced garlice
1 tsp lemon juice + zest of half a lemon
1 tsp lime juice + zest of half a lime
Method:
Step 1: In a large mixing bowl thoroughly break up the
tuna into small flakes
Step 2: Stir in the egg, spring onion, garlic and
breadcrumbs
Step 3: Using your hands shape the mixture into 4 burger
patties and place between greaseproof paper and refridgerate for 20 minutes
Step 4: Remove the burgers from the fridge and fry in a
non stick pan over a medium heat – 5 minutes a side.
Step 5: Serve skinny with a big salad (include capers –
sooo good) or serve in a bun of your choice!
