From fitness bunnies, to fitness dudes to fitness bunnies… I
follow a fair amount of people on Instagram, I like to connect with people of
like minded interests, help people if I can, take inspo from them and I try to
reply to as many DM’s assss I possibly can. I have good days and bad days on
that last bit. For a social media person… I have days where I am not sociable
at all. So sue me, can’t be perfect 365/7 – though I try my damndest haha!
I love all of my followers, and the people I follow however,
there is 3 accounts… that I follow more closely – ok ok I stalk them every day. I’ll
give you their IG handles, and what I personally take from their page and who knows, maybe
it will introduce you to someone new that can give you a new sprig of inspiration….
In case I’m not inspiring enough.. which I totally am… but just in case… heh…
She’s featured in most posts I’ve done regarding my inspiration sources and its because she
was my main number one inspo when I got into fitness. I’ve followed her story
like the biggest fan girl for like 4 years, so top of the chain has to be Jen
Heward @hunnybunsfit - from fitness, to
personal mental health missions, she has been a great guru in my life. Most
recently she’s been going through a stage in her life where she basically had
to rebuild herself after her long-term relationship came to an end. Jen’s journey
to rediscovering herself on her own has been hugely inspiring. She’s also
completely bonkers. To which I can relate!
Next up, when I started getting more and more into fitness
and using my Instagram to platform my journey I stumbled across a local lass who at the
time was competing, so she was ab goals. I watched Imogen Parfitt @Parfittness page
to see her workouts and as the years have passed, she’s moved more away from
the aesthetical side of fitness and more into the mental impacts. As someone
who has recovered from anorexia she knows the importance of living a healthy
life and not being obsessed with being on the stage. Whilst fitness is one of her passions, Imogen hasn't become a part of a particular
clique in the fitness world ie Bodybuilder, crossfit. Which I LOVE. She’s just herself, confident
and savvy in her own body without feeling the need to look stage ready 12 months
of the year. Plus she is hilarious and her dog Nev is amazeballs.
And then there’s Katie… she’s brash in the best way, savvy,
independent, and although she protects it fiercely, she has the most incredible
heart. Katie's hustle and dedication to her personal goals on top of her day job as
a consultant gives her queen status on a whole other level. @Myhitlife is the
realist of the real guys, she will go on live cam at 4.30am with last nights
bed hair and tell you what’s up. She uses no filters, frames or any of that
jazz, her impact on me and on the world is raw and fresher than anything I’ve
come across on social media and that’s what makes following her journey so
different from everyone else’s.
So there you have it those are my top 3 follows. All hugely
successful, inspiring women that I think you could learn a thing or two from. Hell
I know I have!
