The Value of your Time!

Self love is more than just basking in your light. Self love is identifying where you’re fucking up, being accountable for it and correcting it.

3 quarters perfect and a quarter still in progress – that’s how I described myself this weekend as I found myself swimming in the pool of “where the fuck am I going next”
The fact is, I am already a perfect version of who I am, but a big part of who I am is finding ways to improve myself. I am ALWAYS working on something.
One of my personal flaws I have is my lack of management for distractions, I allow myself to get carried away in the moment sometimes, and whilst I think being present is important, you can’t allow you present to content you enough to take your eyes of the future.
Time goes by regardless of how you use it.
There are times to be selfless and giving with your time.
And there are times where you need to set boundaries and say “sorry not sorry hunni, but I don’t have time for this”
We get 86,400 seconds in a day. Once that day is gone, we can’t get it back.
Do you really value yourself, if you don’t value your time and where you’re using it?
Let’s talk monetary value for just a second:
Say your goal is to make £100,000 in the next 12 months.
That’s £275.97 per day (x 365) you sleep for 8 hours of that day. Left with 16 hours - the value of your time is £17.12 per hour if you are going to reach that goal.
Every hour you waste being worried about something you can’t control
Every hour you waste laying in your bed staring at your phone waiting for someone to reply
Every hour you waste being conflicted by the opinions of others
Every hour you waste arguing with people over irrelevant bullshit
Every hour you waste procrastinating instead of acting on your goals
Is wasted time you won’t get back and wasted money you won’t earn.
Now before you get all “Zen hunni, you need to rest” I get that – I do, but that time you are resting and spending with your family and friends still has a value on it too, so make sure you are spending it doing the things you really love, with the people that value your time as much as you do.
There are 99 days left of 2019 – what are you going to do with it?
